From Exposome Knowledge to Collaborative Action

Our work focuses on strengthening the evidence, capability, methods and relationships needed to advance credible and locally relevant exposome science in Viet Nam.

OUR AREAS OF WORK

Evidence and Landscape Mapping

Identify and synthesize exposome-related evidence, research capabilities and knowledge gaps relevant to Vietnam.

Research Readiness and Methods

Support the development of research questions, study concepts, exposure assessment approaches and responsible data frameworks.

Education and Capability Building

Develop accessible resources, professional dialogue, workshops and multidisciplinary knowledge exchange around exposome concepts and methods.

Collaboration and Evidence Translation

Connect expertise and institutions to develop credible collaborative opportunities and translate exposome knowledge into research and prevention.

Combined and Cumulative Exposures

Timing and Life Stages

Biological Response and Susceptibility

Prevention and Population Health

How exposures before birth, during childhood, working life and later life may have different or lasting effects.

How external influences interact with biological processes and why responses differ across individuals and populations.

How improved understanding of exposures can support healthier environments, risk reduction and more context-sensitive prevention.

How multiple exposures interact and accumulate rather than acting independently.

Key Questions Across the Life Course

Across our work, we are particularly interested in how exposures combine, accumulate and change over time, and how their effects may differ across populations and settings.

RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPMENT

Our current activities may include evidence reviews, landscape studies, research-priority discussions, educational resources, multidisciplinary workshops, feasibility work and the development of collaborative research concepts.

Any future activity involving human participants, biological materials or identifiable health data will be undertaken through appropriate institutional, ethical and governance arrangements.
